Pilot testing Network certification test scripts

In preparation for the October launch of its 2008 Network certification program, the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology invited Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) to apply for participation in the 2008 Pilot Test. 

Pilot applications are now closed.

The Pilot Test is designed to validate criteria, test steps, and testing tools against real products and to solicit vendor comment to fine tune the inspection process. Benefits to the selected vendors include:

  • Testing new HIEs against the 2008 proposed test scripts without a fee
  • Checking the readiness of both HIE and staff for an actual inspection
  • Providing valuable feedback that will be used to refine the final criteria and testing process
  • Public announcement of participation at the end of the Pilot Test
