Network Work Group prepares for pilot

In preparation for the October launch of its 2008 Network certification program, the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology is working with Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) to pilot test its criteria, test steps, and testing tools against real products and to solicit vendor comment to fine tune the inspection process.

In July 2007, a new Network Work Group was formed. Composed of a variety of healthcare professionals and stakeholders, the group will foster the development of the criteria for certifying the networks that join systems together. Review the Network Work Group members.
