Project LAIKAProject LAIKA is a collaborative effort between CCHIT and MITRE to build a testing resource to evaluate compliance of electronic health records (EHR) and networks with interoperability certification criteria. An open source software testing framework, distributed via an Apache 2.0 open source license, this development effort will make it easier for electronic health record vendors to test and verify that their products support standards-based information exchange capabilities and prepare for CCHIT certification. LAIKA will be a free and publicly available EHR testing tool with an anticipated release date of version 1.0 by March 21, 2008. Visit the Project LAIKA site. |
